BreakingMyself This band was introduced to me by a 7" flexi from Goblinhaus Records purchased on a whim, what an awesome idea that was!

Catchy, groovy, creepy and heavy this album just works for me on every level.

The bassline of Radon Chong hits a nerve I'd forgotten about, forged by the likes of Mudvayne and Korn over a decade ago (different genre, but still, definitely a compliment).

Consider me a fan \m/ Favorite track: Radon Chong.

" GGP has just released their latest EP, Litanies of Surf, and once again the men in masks have demonstrated a mastery of style that allows them to take surf music and do whatever they hell they want to with it...Ghouls on Film is chock full of Oingo Boingo goodness..It’s no Elfman knockoff by any means, but I’d wager that Elfman himself would have to stop and think, “Huh, when did I write that?” if he heard it today...“Sexy Harambe Frankenstein bursts out of the gate like Phil Spector on meth, an unstoppable wall of energy in which a guitar is made to sound (at times) precisely like a 1979 Asteroids arcade machine. A sonic punch to the nads, it is the shortest track on the disc and sounds like an Impressionist painter’s view of a mosh pit, if the mosh pit were held in the middle of a busy city street under alien attack...“Get Out of My Dreams and Into My Hearse is every bit as technically impressive as speed metal, but a thousand times more listenable and melodic. "With "Sexy Harambe Frankenstein," they collect adrenalized hard rock rhythms and mix them with the wobbly melodic bounce of classic surf noise to create a menacing but spry rush of crunchy guitars and muddied beats. They tear through their inspirations with all the force of a hurricane, leaving a wide trail of destruction and broken instruments in their wake. And though the track doesn't even hit the two-minute mark, it's crammed full of mountainous riffs and ragged bouts of percussion. The band lays out a complex landscape of craggy melodies and disjointed rhythms that combine to form a towering instrumental presence." Josh Pickard at Nooga.com

----------------------------------
"Genki Genki Panic is back after their transformative Spooky Fingers EP. While Spooky Fingers felt kind kind of like a soundtrack, Litanies of Surf is a rock record, dialing back the atmospherics, cranking up the volume and the speed, and keeping the anything-goes approach to their song-writing. Less spooky, but bigger and meaner. Less Danny Elfman, more Man... or Astro-Man...Cosmic Monster, and...Mike Patton/Faith No More.... It's a great EP and it's really amazing to watch this band evolve with each release." -Storm Surge Of Reverb
